OEM mode

I reinstalled Dapper with OEM mode but never recall it asking me for a
user id. It did ask me for a password however and when it was finished I
could not log on. I've simply reinstalled with text mode but now I am
curious.

What is the difference between OEM mode and text mode

Did I Miss the id when doing the OEM mode or is there a problem. I did a
search and found there seem to be some issues related to OEM mode but
did not quite understand if that was my problem.
