OK, so you're either not running Ubuntu, or you're trying the very dangerous
practice of just including any source that catches your eye.

If it's the first, then you need to ask a DeMudi mailing list.

If it's the second, then what you're seeing is perfectly normal, and OF
COURSE you don't want to remove the kernel image.   You can't just mix
distros and expect them to work.
