maybe. I didn't dig into it at all.
here are my reports:
https://launchpad.net/products/partconf/+bug/31258 - can't install dapper to LV
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/31435 - installer allows /boot to be
on a raid or LV volume, which grub doesn't support
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/32775 - installed raid ok, won't boot
