Need some assisstance with APT-PROXY please

OH MY GOD YOU'RE A F***ING GENIUS!!!!!!!!
After spending two tedious days reading the mans for apt-cacher and
apt-proxy, and doing everything I could think of, you have solved the
problem and all I needed to do was remove 6 characters from apt.conf.

HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT??? IS DOESN'T SAY ANYWHERE.
MOREOVER WHY WAS IT CHANGED??
I am really a little put out by that.


For anyone else, the line Acquire::http::Proxy "false"; in apt.conf
needs to be changed to
Acquire::Proxy "false";

Ben Darby you are a saviour. I have to ask you, how do you know that
this needed to be changed?
