Need some assisstance with APT-PROXY please

Did you restart apt-proxy after adding the ubuntu lines to
apt-proxy.conf?

Do you have to go through a web proxy?  If so, you need to set that in
apt-proxy.conf.

Can you post the full output of a failing apt-get update?
