That's just one of the meanings of free. The other meaning is IMO
more important.

What about Gentoo? On Gentoo, I never had to care that much, if
a software is free. Heck, they've even got packages for absolutely
non-free software.

So: What about Gentoo? Feel like picking on Gentoo, as it offers
the users even more freedom than Ubuntu offers?
