Anyone know qemu?

I tried qemu and win98 under dapper/sarge. No problems at all. It was
quite simple. I had a couple of legacy dos apps which could be run under
dos running under qemu. That was really nice!

But kqemu is a different thing. It is not reliable on non-intel h/w. It
makes my machine (athlon) crawl. Trying to run win9x under qemu on that
machine is futile. Dropping kqemu gave me a decent performance though.
The only irritant I noticed is mouse does not work reliably :-(
