No.

No. As the hardware of the VMware will differ from the hardware
of your machine, you'll need a new installation of Windows (or
any guest OS).

To do that, you'd need the full VMware product - the free
VMware server would be sufficient.

And after you've created a VMware image, you can then use  VMware
Player to start the VMware image.
