Has Ubuntu Replaced Windows on Your Box?

I've used solely ubuntu (apart from at school) since 5.10. It keeps
inproving, well, gnome seems to be slipping back a bit with its YAY -
lets remove all the useful pieces of functionality from this
application. I mean really, what's wrong with an 'advanced' button if
you want feature hiding? I might switch to xfce (sorry, I can't
*stand* kde).
