Perhaps some buttons htat don't release?
Some printers do have a self-test-mode. Keep button "x" pressed while
powering the printer on gives you self-test-page for example.

So please try to disconnect the printer from your network / pc and
also from power. Then wait some seconds and reconnect it to the power
source. If nothing happens, you can connect it back to your pc /
network.

Maybe there are somewhere some jobs still in a printer queue (created
with HP-drivers)?
