turning off IPv6

I'm not sure it can be turned off that way.  I certainly don't have a
line loading it in my /etc/modules.  lsmod shows that it's loaded (the
ipv6 module) but I'm unable to remove it as it's in use.  It's not
clear from the lsmod output what's using it, however:

cbell at circe:~$ lsmod | grep ipv6
ipv6                  286976  46
cbell at circe:~$
