haha nevermind i knew i had 2 do "killall gnome-panel" but that didnt seem 2 work and then i figured out i had to change "menu-bar" to "menu-object" now it looks more like a drawer than a menu o well i have my penguin icon!! hehe works beautifully thanks jaime -- JcZndeR
