printing cups and more

Try this in terminal:

sudo adduser cupsys shadow

sudo adduser <yourusername> lpadmin

sudo sudo /etc/init.d/cupsys restart

http://localhost:631/

That should help you get into the web interface with your username and password.  Use any web browser to get into CUPS.
