printing cups and more

thru google and persoanl experience i see cups in dapper has some issues.

since, the test page issue printing randomly continue i tried
to remove printer and reinstall,

when i try to do it via cups the password i have for regular user does not work
since root account is disable.....

when i try thru gnoem-printing 

lpq does not show the printer even though its there. [i can print test page]


can someone please provide info with cups web based :631 what username/password to use?
