There's also the more 'Ubuntu'-ey (as in the distribution, not the
word) sound-juicer which uses gstreamer plugins. You might like to
give it a try but for mp3 output you'll need to follow some of the

I've no idea but for me in GMail at least, that remains its own
thread, and nothing obvious tying this thread to that one shows its
head in the headers. Hm. Perhaps your e-mail client is cleverer than
GMail for noting the 'inreplyto' message. Ho hum.
