OT: I never see my own emails, why?

I use GMail on the web as my e-mail client. When I send a mail to the list
it shows up in my sent items and under my 'Ubuntu-users' label because of
the filter I have set up. Any replies sent to my message tail on to my
original message.
Not exactly sure why you're not seeing your own messages, but I think the
way Google Mail works is that it never has you 'receive' your own messages,
but it does store them when you _send_ them. If you see what I mean.
