No it doesn't. It means that it is *less* stable than ext3. This is
simply the fact that ext3/ext2 has been around for a long time and has
gone through a much more extensive testing than ReiserFS. Ext2 came out
13 years ago, and has been the primary Linux fs since. ReiserFS is 5
years old, and even today it probably isn't as used as ext3.
