GPL compliance

I thought I was told that this was all OT and we werent discussing it
within this thread anymore. I never did see a reply that set me
straight about all of my misunderstanding of the GPL that I posted
here.

I would truly like to read peoples replies that states the contrary and
have supporting evidence with them? Please point out which part I am
wrong about and how I am wrong or misreading it.



Any software covered under the GPL can obviously be copied and handed
out. Now if there is other software on a cd that is not distributable
or has a different license then you would have to see what each license
allows before distributing the whole thing. Of course trademarks are
also a issue to consider.
