x freezes after last dapper kernel upgrade

Hi All



Im also reporting problems with X freezing, requires Hard reboot
(button) can't even Ctrl+Alt+Backspace 



Have tryed various window managers and have had freezes with all
listed.

Trying to rule out the problem hoping the laptop hardware is not
failing.

Gnome

Kde

Fluxbox

Blackbox



I can report freezes with these stock kernels.

2.6.15-25-386

2.6.15-23-386



Currently i and running 2.6.15-22-386 with my fingers crossed trying to
get something done before it freezes again.



If i cannot figure this out im thinking of running another OS just to
rule out the hardware.
