I think that's really a good question. A lot of people on the forum are
complaining about some bugs (gparted bugs ..) or some missing things
(keep an option that provides the last installation mode -- without
going through the live cd mode ) on the dapper new cd. And dapper is
meant to be LTS. So if the install cd is bugged, how could people use it.
I really think that a new install cd should be provide when those "bugs"
are fixed. "It's better late than never". When this will be release, why
not apply all security patches then?
I don't be this time's case should be generalized, but it is really
annoying to have an official cd not working.
