Or install "apt-file" then

sudo apt-file update
apt-file search saslauthd

( or whatever file you are looking for) Output looks like

[snip]
sasl2-bin: etc/default/saslauthd
sasl2-bin: etc/init.d/saslauthd
sasl2-bin: usr/sbin/saslauthd
...
[snip]

and so on.
