hi,
as i'm also in the process of upgrading, i came across this article at
tomshardware.com [1], which is a nice read if you consider an amd X2.
i dont know about the prices in the us, but in germany you can get the
X2 3800 for 10 euros more then the single cpu 3800. and looking at the
testresults, the X2 3800 doesnt perform that bad.
