writing to floppies possible as a user?

Try changing this line:

/dev/fd0        /media/floppy0  vfat    rw,user,noauto  0       0

to:

/dev/fd0        /mnt/floppy  vfat    rw,user,auto  0       0

You may have to create the folder /mnt/floppy and you will need to set permissions to 755 on both /mnt and /mnt/floppy. This should work though. I haven't had this problem in Breezy (I don't use floppies anymore), but I have had it in other Linux distros (when I still used floppies).
