Tom,

justto add, to what I posted. Your notebook monitor and your external moitor
may not have the same resolution as the inspiron is widescreen. set the
resolution to 1024x768 first and see if its still fuzzy. If your external
monitor and your notebook monitor have the same resolution use them both at
thae resolution and it should work.
