[dapper] x-windows broken again

	Well, the latest updates (including GDM) have broken X-Windows
on my Dapper partition again. This time I get no error message, just
end up at the CLI. Dpkg-reconfigure tells me the xserver is broken or
not fully installed but that could be due to the link I have
in /usr/X11/bin to Xorg in /usr/bin, the work around suggested to fix
it the last time.

Any ideas?
