Hello list,
I have a small Ethernet 10Mbps LAN with 2 Ubuntu Breezy AMD64 and 1 HP
Photosmart 3210. Each device has its own local IP and is solely attached
to the Lan router.
While the printing function is reachable through any PC thanks to CUPS
and HPLIP, which recognizes the network printing device in a breeze, I
cannot use XSANE to scan from any of those 2 PC; XSANE tells "No Scan
Device Found" on startup and never launches.
I tried to use "saned" and "sanenet" but I presume this is for scanning
when there is an usb scanner attached to a computer in a network,
because providing the IP of the AllInOne HP device does not produce any
result.
Any info regarding this issue would be very appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Take care.
Xermán
