I have a dv8000 laptop, which had difficulty booting SUSE 10. After a lot of
googling, I found a suggestion to suse the kernel boot option 'acpi=noirq',
works fine now. Had no luck getting the Wireless to work with 64-bit system,
due to lack of 64-bit Win XP drivers to use with ndiswrapper, so I had to
install SUSE 32-bit. I haven't got the ATI drivers to work yet either, just
get a kernel panic. I don't hold out much hope for the n-in-1 card reader, at
the moment. It is a PCI card reader, which are quite rare.

Good Luck
