Dapper (32bit) AMD Lockups

Hey Paul!
 Are there support packages listed in your package mgr, for AMD/386/K7?  I use them on my Compaq AMD 3200+ and everything has worked fine so far!

Does it still happen if you use a _stable_ filesystem (eg. ext3)?

ReiserFS is known for being a bit of a wild-horse.
