Visudo invokes GNU nano rather than vi

Interesting;  but when I tried to run it, it asked for the *root*
password.  When I entered my password (as an admin group user) I got a
message about creating a keyring for gksudo...

I backed out at that stage, because I don't yet understand what was
going on there.
