Things I already hate about Kubuntu (new user)

Totally, and likewise here. Despite the 19" screen being plenty big
enough to show the whole window, many of the KDE "Settings" applets
open for me in a smallified size which obscures the "Administrator"
button.



Drag bottom of window down to reveal and click. I only guessed this
after seeing one window pop up that DID show the all powerful
'Administrator' button. This is a really confusing thing for users, and
deserves a 'bug listing somewhere'
