ipw2200 pain with latest kernel

>From Breezy to Breezy. And yes, I did install linux-686. Interestingly
enough, this afternoon I downgraded to 2.6.12-9-686 and it works here.

I was using a self-compiled ipw2200 (0.19) with my original kernel,
but the latest one is stock (1.0.6). So i guess this discussion has
now become about why 2.6.12-9-686 doesnt exhibit this problem but
2.6.12-10-686 does. Note that both 12-9 and 12-10 would have been
using stock.
