ipw2200 pain with latest kernel

Hi,

I recently upgraded linux-image-686 (from 2.6.10-6-686 to 2.6.12-10-686) and
now it seems the ipw2200 driver is messed up. In dmesg, I get:

ipw2200: disagrees about version of symbol
ieee80211_[get_crypto_ops,crypt_deinit_entries,..]

As a result, the ipw2200 module can't find the right symbols and so doesn't
load... Is this a known problem? If there is no workaround, how can I use an
older version of the kernel (I use the nvidia drivers which seem to be
linked to a specific kernel version)

Thanks!
