MBR problem

Hi.  I'm running a Win XP ( 32 bit ), Athlon 64 X2 machine on which I wanted
to also install Ubuntu (64 bit ).  I've got Win XP in a SATA disk and Ubuntu
in an ATA one.  On reboot, after the installation (and after having
installed GRUB), GRUB doesn't appear, instead Windows boots normally.  I've
got no idea on what to do.  Do you have any?
