Evolution unable to connect to gmail

Odd...., I use my gmail account to access this very list, and here I am
using evolution to read and respond <shrug>.  Not certain what the
problem might be <sorry>.  Have you been using it for a while and then
recently started experiencing problems??
I'll let you know if I suddenly encounter the same difficulty, but in
the meantime are you able to get to gmail via the web interface w the
very same password??  Perhaps you can contact their "help" folks at the
website.
