Gnome Spell - Language Setting

Hello,

Gnome includes a spell checker that can be used in different
applications like gedit, tomboy or the blog applet. Obviously the spell
checker supports the language which was chosen for the current Gnome
session. If I run a Gnome session in German, the spell checker supports
German and If I run Gnome in English, the spell checker supports English.

In my case I would run Gnome Sessions in English, but I would like to
use a German spell checker in tomboy and the blog applet. Is this
possible? I know, there are some setting options for Gnome Spell in the
gconf-editor, but I haven't managed yet to change them for my needs.

Thanks in advance, Jochen
