Alternatives to ubuntu?

http://kubuntu.org (ubuntu with KDE desktop instead of Gnome desktop).

Actually, if you already have Ubuntu installed, you can add KDE desktop 
to it instead of doing a new install of kubuntu, and then just chose 
KDE as your desktop in the loggin options. Not sure exactly what you 
add but you can look that up.
