It looks like the problem might be the wireless on/off button in the
laptop. The button apparently operates through USB and the kernel
doesn't know how to handle it.
Having said that, it would be interesting to also see whether we are
using the same drivers. If you could send me the output of "md5sum
bcmwl5.inf bcmwl5.sys" I could check if I have the right files.
