have you searched ubuntu forums
http://www.ubuntuforums.org/ for an answer?
I got mine to work using ndiswrapper-utils.
this is what I found somewhere on the forums:
-------------------
"* install "ndiswrapper-utils" with synpatic or ap-get
* in a terminal type: "uname -r". Now you know which
kernel version you
are using.
* install "linux-headers-kernelversion" with synaptic
or apt-get
* in the terminal "cd /to/path" where you driver.inf
is. (for instance:
$cd /media/cdrom)
* sudo ndiswrapper -i yourdriver.inf (installs the
driver)
* sudo ndiswrapper -l (shows wether if he really
installed the driver)
* sudo ndiswrapper -m (this will cause the driver to
be started at
boot)
* Click administration -> Networking en configure here
what your
wep-key, router etc is.
* activate your wifi-card then configure it"
