Ubuntu User list not functioning properly.

I don't get any mails from the server at all when I try to unsubscribe 
from the web interface or when I try to issue a command to 
<ubuntu-users-request at lists.ubuntu.com>. Sort of like being in th 
twilight zone ;-)
