Upgrade install help

[Leech Mike (AP/ETC1)]

I have successfully installed Ubuntu 5.10 and I am happy with what I see
so far.

I would like to upgrade my installation and try some new packages but at
the present time my system is not on a network.

I have the ability to sneaker net using a thumb drive.

How can I do this?
