Peter,
I tried:
sudo ln -sf /dev/ttyS14 /dev/modem
I got:
bash: sudu: command not found.
But without the sudo:
ln -sf /dev/ttyS14 /dev/modem
I got:
ln: creating symbolic link '/dev/modem' to '/dev/ttyS14' : permission
denied. ???
