Can[t see email in Evolution

All email suddenly became invisible in all mailboxes.

I've checked each mailbox with 'Properties' and it shows
that previously read and unread email is present. Likewise,
'properties' shows that boxes like 'drafts', 'sent'...still
have messages.

Also, each mailbox that has unread mail shows the number of these messages.

I'm not sure, but this condition seems to have started after I
moved a message from 'Inbox' to 'Drafts' for editing and
forwading.

How can I make these messages visible again?

PS  I have to resort to using Windows to send this message and
receive responses, something I dreaded in quite a long time.
