volume level is weak in Rythymbox

THank you. I've been able to get a loud volume by raising the level on the
PCM bar. I wonder why gnome-alsamixer is able to fix this, while the
RhythimBox's own volume setting won't be enough.

Let me see if i understand things here. PCM is  what controls the digital
sounds. Is this correct?
