APIC error?

Folks;

gone through the process of installing Edgy Eft on a Toshiba Tecra A8
notebook and migrating all my data to here, I'm stunned seeing how
smoothly things went - pretty much all the hardware included works out
of the box. :)

However, one thing left: Having a look at the kernel messages, I see
them flooded with entries like this:

[17181392.752000] APIC error on CPU1: 40(40)
[17181392.752000] APIC error on CPU0: 40(40)

Strange. Is that something I should worry about? Is there some way
getting rid of that? System configuration:

- Intel Core 2 CPU T7200 , 2.00GHz
- Linux kernel 2.6.17-10-generic

Anything I forgot about, so far?

Thanks in advance and bye,
Kristian
