pam_foreground.so undefined symbols in /var/log/syslog

Hello everyone,

I recently installed the OSSEC security monitor on my home server. It's 
running Ubuntu 6.10 Server and is completely up to date.

OSSEC is spitting out this message:

OSSEC HIDS Notification.
2006 Dec 17 21:12:40

Received From: HOSTNAME->/var/log/syslog
Rule: 1002 fired (level 7) -> "Unknown problem somewhere in the system."
Portion of the log(s):

authdaemond: PAM [dlerror: /lib/security/pam_foreground.so: undefined symbol: pam_set_data]

Any ideas?
