HP Printer on Edgy

Hi all,

I have been using Ubuntu since the beginning of breezy and I have never had
any problems with my printer until I installed edgy. I still have a working
dapper install here were the printer is working fine, but on edgy it's quite
unstable. Here's what happens:

at first I could install a printer the usual way: "add Printer". But it
wasn't recognized after a reboot. Also removing the printer and installing
doesn't work. The program gnome-cups-add freezes. Does anyone else also have
this problem? I don't know what they changed in CUPS since edgy....

My printer is a HP psc 1110 so I use the hpijs driver.
