debug suspend?

Hi

suspend to ram worked in 6.06 for my laptop
in 6.10 it doesnt.

It goes thru the process but than re-awakes itself in about 10 secs.

I have read the scripts a little in /etc/acpi

sleep.sh is the main one.
prepare.sh is the one that is having trouble.
It appears to go through all the modules and shut them down.

I have ACPI_SLEEP_MODE=mem

in /etc/default/acpi-support.


My hardware is a averatec 4145 laptop
with turion 1.8mhz processor
via unichrome video
etc.

P.S. is there a better mailing list for posting technical stuff like this?
Is this particular mailing list good for debugging stuff?
