Because they're not available here in Italy (substitute with favourite
country) at decent prices? "Normal" notebooks here still carry -as a
default- a 5400 rpm drive. You can certainly find faster ones, but
they aren't worth their price, IMHO. Not that I have the money to
actually buy them, but still...
