root at host:/home/user# ls -l /var/lib/python-support/python2.4/libxml2mod.so*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 62 2006-12-11 13:10
/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/libxml2mod.so ->
/usr/lib/python-support/python-libxml2/python2.4/libxml2mod.so
root at host:/home/user#

- first find out the package it belongs to: 'dpkg -S
> /var/lib/python-support/python2.4/libxml2mod.so'

root at host:/home/user# dpkg -S
/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/libxml2mod.so
dpkg: /var/lib/python-support/python2.4/libxml2mod.so not found.

not sure if that was correct ...

- second we want to re-install the package: apt-get install
