How do I restart DHCP discovery from GUI ( ubuntu 6.10)

If you are running Dapper  then to the right of the listed network
adaptors should be an activate/deactivate button. In Edgy this was
changed; now you you will find a little tick-box to the left of each
network device listed. Ticking this box or unchecking it will
activate/deactivate that particular network device.
